Garlock Sealing Technologies was founded by the ingenuity of Olin Garlock, who figured out how to seal the rods in steam engines. In 1887, he established a manufacturing facility in Palmyra, New York to manufacture seals for corrosive liquids. Today the company has 15 locations in 8 countries and is part of the Enpro Industries Inc. group. Seals from this manufacturer are used in: food, pharmaceutical, paper, semiconductor, nuclear, petroleum, chemical, steel, mining, power generation. Since its inception, the company has focused on innovative inventions. The safety of work in any enterprise depends on the quality of the sealed joints of machines and pipelines. The seals must be strong, resistant to high temperatures, high pressure and aggressive environment, retaining elasticity during operation and not aging.
